Primal Chaos version 2.00
=-------------------------=
Even though this is the first updated from version 1.00, I decided that
since it is such a big upgrade that it should have a full 1.00 upgrade,
to version 2.00.
Things added / improved:
* CHAOS.EXE *
- Upgraded from version 5.00 of OpenDoors to 6.00. The game runs much
smoother and quicker. The editor also runs smoother and quicker.
- Added the idea of Magic and Spell Casting to the game. A very great
improvement that was long overdue.
- Made the game just that much easier so that people can play it for the
first time and not die right away.
- When fighting made it if you're fighting one person, or have killed off
the other people and are fighting one person, where it won't ask who
you want to attack. It will, instead, automatically attack that one
person left.
- Changed the "Press A Key" command.
- Redid the bank inside of the city. Instead of asking for a deposit or
withdrawal and then showing them how much money they have, now shows
how much money and then asks for a deposit or withdrawal.
- Took out the Chapel. Decided that it just had no point whatsoever.
- Seperated Weapons and Armor shops.
- In both Weapons and Armor shop, upon entering it will now list the armor
and weapons that the store carries. That way a person doesn't have to
enter, list the stuff, buy it, and have to remember what it was. This
just lists it, then you can just buy it from there and look at what you
want.
- In the guild, now there is no "List Guild Members". When wanting to hire
one, it will list the available ones and ask you who you want to hire
from there.
- Added the Colosseum to the city. This way a person does not have to go
outside of the city to fight people. They can just fight them inside of
the city in the colosseum.
- When looking at statistics, it doesn't ask you who to look at, but goes
through you and your party. You can stop at any time.
- Now can look at your quest when walking out in the lands.
- Instead of having to wait to look at your quest, until you raise to
a certain level, you can automatically see what it is and it will
tell you a recommended level you should be to do the quest.
- Fixed some bugs inside of the game.
- New screen made when first entering the game, much better.
- New beginning screens, now graphics when making a character.
- New first entering animation screen, pretty cool.
- Fixed sum speling and grammer mitakes <G>.
- Changed the professions that a character can choose.
- Added the 'R'un command when fighting another person.
* EDITOR.EXE *
- Moved the Node Editor over to the "Other" command menu. Less confusing
when the Node Editor isn't with all of the game editors.
- Added the idea of editing the magic spells for the game.
* OTHER *
- Made a BBS advertisement screen that the sysop can put on his/her BBS
to tell the users that the door is on the board. It is under the
name of "BBSINTRO" in both .ANS and .ASC format.
